FILIPINO INNOVATION on Waterless Urinal Technology

Being an ordinary Filipino citizen I am always concerned on how I can help contribute to our society. One of those actions I am committed to is – respect for earth’s balance, or simply being earth friendly.  In my own little way I am doing things to support ideas that help our planet’s balance.

I found this product called OTTO waterless urinal and I am amazed on its ability to practically reduce our water consumption. Imagine saving approximately 45,000 gallons of clean water every year. That’s per urinal.

I know every product of the same kind gives the same amount of savings but the thing is – there’s a big difference with OTTO waterless urinal, because of its unique Re-usable Cartridge Technology, which is developed by a Filipino.

Waw! A Filipino innovated a European technology and made it even better and cheaper!  His name is Mr. Jerry Ong .

The waterless urinals we see now in restaurants and malls are using disposable cartridges. Imagine throwing these cartridges approximately every three months?  How much more in years?

I see Mr. Jerry Ong’s vision in helping our planet is selfless. As an inventor and businessman he never wanted to make more money on waterless cartridge technology. I remember he said… Pano ako makakatulong sa mundo kung gagawin kong mahal at disposable ang cartridge? (How would I be able to help our planet if will make the cartridge expensive and disposable?)

Mr. Ong simply made the urinal’s cartridge cheaper and Re-usable, that’s it! As simple as that!
